3C Industry SMT Workshop Full-Process Intelligent Logistics Handling Project Case

Guozì Robotics has provided a full-process intelligent logistics handling solution for the SMT workshop of a large integrated integrated-circuit enterprise in China, helping the customer achieve informatization, automation, and intelligence in the production process。



Traditional logistics operations in 3C factories are primarily labor-intensive. The SMT workshop requires continuous 24-hour production, which is highly labor-intensive. Manual material collection is inefficient and prone to errors, and the movement of magazine material boxes can easily lead to material drops and damage.

Guozì has adopted a mixed operation of various types of robots, including MINI stacker robots, multi-layer material box picking robots (Picking), hidden top-lifting handling robots (ANTS), and lifting roller conveyor handling robots. This solution has enabled the SMT workshop of this digital factory to achieve full-process intelligent logistics handling.



The project has achieved full-process automation of material loading and unloading, as well as automated storage in the SMT workshop. Multiple types of robots with various navigation modes are uniformly scheduled and deployed to collaborate and complete tasks. The system automatically plans travel routes to handle material handling and storage tasks for dozens of production lines within the SMT workshop. This solution supports the automated transportation of various materials, including electronic component carriers, feeder carts, steel screens, and magazine material boxes.

By automating logistics handling with AGVs, the logistics efficiency has been increased by 40%. The use of AGVs to replace manual material transfer has reduced labor costs by 40% and decreased worker labor intensity by 80%

AGV Dispatching Management System integrates with the customer's existing production management systems to achieve granular traceability of production materials. The backend logistics management in the workshop is fully paperless and automated, eliminating errors in logistics tasks and preventing information loss.

With an accuracy rate of 99.9%, AGV logistics delivery ensures stable and reliable operations. Combined with fully automated docking with production equipment, it effectively reduces product defect rates.

As an industry-first innovation, the Magazine Loading Frame Buffer System increases storage space utilization by 200%, optimizing material flow efficiency.
